Armed with a Bachelor's degree from York University and an Honours Diploma in Travel and Tourism, Janet has honed her skills across an intriguing variety of business fields. With over twenty years of hospitality experience, she has earned widespread praise from several prominent sectors, including pharmaceutical, fashion, automotive and financial industries. Prior to Ovation Meetings Solutions Inc., Janet was Manager of Meetings and Conventions at a mid-size pharmaceutical company, in addition to holding key positions at two other third-party, meeting-supply companies.
Janet's much-appreciated negotiating, budgeting, sales and interpersonal skills work to the advantage of Ovation Meetings Solutions Inc. clients at every turn. With evident insight and flexibility, she has successfully managed every type of meeting, from Advisory Boards to full-scale conventions.
Kris McGillen
Operations Manager
Kris has been making her mark in the hospitality industry for seventeen years. She has established her reputation by creating successful meeting environments for the pharmaceutical, optical, financial and fashion industries. Prior to joining Ovation Meetings Solutions Inc., Kris worked in the Meetings and Conventions Department of a mid-size pharmaceutical company and as a Planning Manager for a well-known third party meetings-supply company. She has managed, planned and executed National Sales/Business Meetings, Incentive Meetings, Investigator Meetings and Advisory Boards for sales representatives and physicians, overseeing groups as small as 20 and as large as 2,000. Her extensive international travel experience, organization skills and attention to detail are additional assets she brings to the table.

New Business Development Manager
Sheila is a dynamic and entrepreneurial business development professional who has extensive experience in relational sales and marketing to corporate business professionals and executives.
In a day when words like Leader and Manager are thrown around freely, Sheila is truly a Leader, because her focus on people makes them want to follow her. She is a Manager because she builds solid processes and structures her organization for efficiency and flexiblity.
Sheila has taken a keen interest in Social Media and state of the art technology and is utilizing her diverse backround to grow the business and take Ovation Meetings Solutions Inc. to the next level.
Cristina Ambrosi
Sponsorship Manager
Cristina Ambrosi, has over 25 years experience in business, management, and sales and marketing. She has worked with a diverse group of corporate and small business owners providing business solutions, as well, non-profit organizations providing marketing, fundraising, and sponsorship, event coordination, and more. Cristina would lead all of the sponsorship opportunities and sponsorship logistics on this project. Cristina has creative approaches to catching the eyes and engaging the interests of sponsors. Cristina’s goal will be to raise sponsorship for these conferences to new levels!
